Medtronic's Service and Repair business is in growth mode and currently recruiting a Contract Sales Specialist to operationalize marketing plans and increase the commercial profitability of and revenue for the Australia and New Zealand business.

**A Day in the Life**

The successful individual will partner with field sales to sell Service Agreements and other service-related products to customers for RTG, CVG and MITG business units. The Contract Sales Specialist will increase service revenue and negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and ensure that service quotations are accurate. This is a newly created position and an opportunity to have a diverse range of responsibilities and gain strong visibility within the Medtronic ANZ and APAC business.

**Key responsibilities include:**

+ Participating in contract negotiations with both field employees and external customers with minimal supervisory involvement.

+ Administering, extending and negotiating standard and nonstandard contracts including completing the red-line/editing process to meet customer specifications, and partnering with Legal where appropriate.

+ Renewal of existing service agreements, sale of post-warranty service agreements

+ Collaborating with Sales Management and Service Marketing to strategically target and forecast monthly and quarterly sales and for long term funnel management.

+ Collaborating cross-functionally to determine annual list prices, improvements to service offerings, sales tools, and other pertinent issues involving service revenue.

+ Developing creative service and or pricing solutions to address complex hospital scenarios.

+ Participating in contract negotiations involving hospital group purchasing contracts, across multiple Medtronic businesses, as appropriate.

+ Maintaining customer files and working within various customer databases, including and the ANZ Contracts Register.

+ Reviewing and confirming customer purchase orders and preparing them for order entry.

**Must Have:**

+ Tertiary qualifications

+ Experience within the Services sector and a strong ability to analyse and negotiate complex service agreements

+ Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

+ Strong organisational skills and an ability to effectively prioritise daily work demands.

+ Willingness to work in a team environment including working with Field Sales Professionals and with a high sense of urgency.

+ Adept in the use of MS Office including Excel.

+ Experience in the medical devices industry is preferred
