The Senior Business Analyst will report to and work closely with the Regional Business operation manager. We are looking for an experienced business analyst who will, with focus on Germany, contribute significantly to the effort of managing and perfecting sales data content, commissions process, sales force reporting analytics, interpretation of data to make informed decisions in the country/regions, as well as forecasting and budgeting. The role is essential to ensure accurate and timely information to the business, which requires close and regular coordination and communication with many internal stakeholders.

**A Day in the Life**

In this role you will be working on the following areas:

Sales Data Management:

- Responsible for overall local data quality, e.g. maintenance of the sales and customer hierarchy.

- Act as the local expert on country structure set up and the key country liaison with the sales hierarchy maintenance team to ensure structure accurately reflects the country situation.

- Collaborate with local stakeholders in initiatives regarding country structure set up.

Sales Reporting:

- Ensure that management, salesforce and marketing have adequate visibility into key data and information.

- Initiate and coordinate improvement on sales analytics tools.

- Provide training and support to the sales- and marketing teams on different reports and tools. Drive adoption of the tools.

- Provide ad-hoc reporting where necessary to meet the local requirements.

Sales Enablement:

- Act as the point of contact for business analytics and give guidance and recommendations for actions.

- Support the Sales Force Effectiveness performance and governance process and assisting the managers in following up on actions.

- Support customer segmentation and targeting process and performance tracking.

- Local support and coordination of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other Sales Enablement Tools.

- Collect, format and assist in the interpretation of local market intelligence data.

Incentives/Commissions Support:

- Support the OU in the implementation of compensation and incentives plans.

- Coordinate and support in the end-to-end sales target setting process for the sales teams.

Forecasting and planning

- Partner with the regional management and country teams and drive the forecasting and planning activities in close cooperation with Finance.

- Be involved and drive key local projects/initiatives on an ad hoc basis.

- Be an active and key member of the overall Business Analyses and Commercial Operations team, sharing and leveraging best practice.

**Must have requirements**

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Admin or Mathematics/Statistics or its equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience in business/market analyses, commercial excellence, finance, controlling or equivalent.

Excellent skills in Excel and experience from Business Intelligence systems/SAP reporting tool and database handling. Preferably have worked with or other CRM system.

Demonstrated strong analytical skills to be used for data driven decisions. Able to quantify financial impact of decisions and identifies key factors when making recommendations.

Strong team player and track record of working collaboratively and to manage cross-functional and cross-country issues.

Fluent in English and German.

Ability to be proactive and act independently.

Assigns and completes tasks with full and complete information in timely manner.

Ability to understand the underlying drivers for the business and countries.

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Travel: Limited, 10% of the time.

**Nice to have**

Preferably knowledge of Healthcare Markets and or the Medical Device/LifeScience industry

Flexible, feeling at ease in different cultures and situations.
