As a member of the Canadian IHS team, the Associate Advanced Analytics Analyst will work closely with IHS colleagues, Business Unit colleagues and customers to ensure successful execution of our engagements. Under the leadership of the Integrated Health Solutions Director, this role will support specific projects with hospitals and regional healthcare providers that will further the use system optimization opportunities and healthcare improvement initiatives. This position will play a key role in the development of Analytical tools that support IHS project initiatives.


**A day in the life!**

+ _Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage._

+ _Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification._

+ _Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems._

+ _Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business._

+ _Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)_

+ Work closely with clients in understanding key business issues.

+ Gather and analyze requirements to develop impactful recommendations and solutions.

+ Utilize advanced analytical techniques to solve challenging business problems. Leverage a diverse set of technologies and tools to deliver insights.

**Must haves.**

+ _Bachelors degree is required_

+ _No minimum years of relevant experience_

+ Experience in machine learning/deep learning

+ Highly proficient with JavaScript, Anylogic, Python

+ Familiarity with Flask and React

+ Confidence in dealing with all roles and responsibilities across clinical and hospital settings

+ Strong communication skills both written and oral

+ Ability totravel up to 50%


**Nice to have.**

+ Masters Degree in Health Informatics or Computer Science

+ Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or working towards designation

+ Understanding of Lean Six Sigma Methodology; working towards a designation

+ Understanding of Canadian Healthcare System
