Under direct supervision,
performs precision assembly of tissue for bio-prosthetic heart valves, within a
team structure, in accordance with manufacturing and quality assurance
procedures. Performs various other area
tasks according to training and department needs. The job is performed inside of a class 7
and/or 8 Controlled Environment Area.

**A Day in the Life**

·Certified to
perform partial steps up to entire production assembly of tissue heart valves
according to established quality and regulatory procedures.

·Assembles, with
direct supervision, within a small team structure to produce volume to mix and
adheres, first and foremost, to GMP requirements required for the
team/individual’s job metrics.

·Must maintain a
high level of cooperation and positive interaction with team members and peers
to meet desired results and to contribute beyond the assigned tasks.

company/department policies and guidelines, including but not limited to, clean
room adherence, company attendance, company attendance and safety policies,
ensuring all near misses are reported in a timely manner.

·Knowledge of
tissue/valve characteristic and defects according to established quality and
assembly procedure. Records all traceability information and inventory movement
transactions accurately.

·Performs other
duties as assigned.

·Comply with
company’s policy and procedures on maintenance of personnel hygiene and CEA
cleanliness to ensure product safety.

·Support continuous
improvement initiatives.

·Stay up to date on
all required training.

·Must follow EHS and
company policies for proper handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous


·Very good manual
dexterity skills

·Ability to read and
comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure
manuals, specifications, simple instructions, short correspondence, company
policies and memos

·Good verbal and
written communication skills, ability to write simple correspondence

Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines

·Ability to apply
common sense, personal integrity and understanding to carry out detailed but
uninvolved written or oral instructions

·Strong desire for
continuous learning

·Willingness to be
flexible, team oriented and open minded to new processes or changes in direction


·High school Diploma
or GED


·0+ Years in medical
device, sewing or manufacturing environment


·0+ Years production
assembly experience in a medical device or regulatory

·Understanding of


·Previous experience
within a team environment, desire for collaboration in order to problem solve
and achieve business objectives

·Basic computer

·Ability to take
initiative and model leadership expectations Shape, Engage, Innovate and

·Ability to
interface with an auditor
