**A Day in the Life**


A **_Situate_** Area
Sales Director is responsible for managing a team of individuals that are
actively selling the **_Situate System_** to hospitals within
the **_Situate_** Area Sales Managers assigned territory.
This requires a number of capabilities including knowledge of the operating
room, the ability to build a team of advocates within each hospital, strong
solution selling skills, and enough tenacity to insure sales objectives are met
on a consistent basis. **_Situate_** Regional Sales Directors
are expected to provide support and key direction in establishing a robust
pipeline throughout the Regional Sales Directors geographical area.


**Roles andResponsibilities**


+ Manage the complex salesprocess of **_Situate_** into new hospitals and upgradesinto existing hospitals

+ Accurately forecastopportunities on a quarterly basis.

+ Hire, train and develop ahighly competent sales force.

+ Manage team activity toconstant selling activity


**Performance Objectives**


+ Achieve quarterly sales targets.

+ Work with the **_Situate_** SeniorNational Sales Director to develop a sales plan for the Regional SalesDirectors geographical area.

+ Manage all team members to 100%of quarterly sales targets.

+ Actively be involved in keymeetings and closing activity.

+ Work closely with Area SalesManagers to grow sales pipeline and condense sales cycles.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 5 years of medical device sales experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of medical device sales and leadership experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Medical sales experience, Knowledgeof the operating room environment C Suite preferred

+ Solution Sales Experience Capital preferred

+ Medical sales management Solution Selling preferrerd

+ Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
