Job Title: Advanced Engineering Manager Requisition Number: 38802
Functional Area: Engineering
Work Location: GAM - Mexicali
Job Description Summary: 1. Safety/ Ergonomic program owner and executor.
2. High end Equipment experience from specification/selection/debug/qualification
3. New process introduction equipment
4. Statistical process control analysis and implementation
5. Equipment cycle/tools and process improvements
6. Strong leader and strong technically on metal-mechanic and highly automation processes
Basic Qualifications: 1. At least 10 years experience on the advance engineering or similar position
2. Minimum 5 years supervising experience on an engineering role
3. Strong technical experience on metal mechanical processes or similar, cold form, hot form, CNC´s and automation
4. At least 5 years engineering experience on new projects/equipments transfers from process conption through implementation
5. Ability to work with other departments and manage the level of load of the department.
6. High skills of Microsoft Office, GD&T, PFMEA/PCP, equipment specifications, Green Belt/SPC and process control

Required Skills:

1. Engineer degree on mechanical/electrical/electromechanical or simialr, master´s degree preferred.
2. High Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, which means sustained utilization of the tools on a daily basis.
3. Able to determinate a follow the execution of the operations time studies and observations program.
4. High experience on new projects introduction
5. Ability to create and track projects Plans/Metrics.
6. Lead by example for the achievement of the business goals

Preferred Skills:
1. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
2. Well developed computer skills of SAP management & AutoCad/ CATIA modeling.
% Travel Required: 20 - 30%
